HAVE EQUAL 2,000 YEAR TERMS

TWO COVENANTS
1.

Two covenants made by God, each 2,000 years long, form a 4,000 year Kingdom plan. The first was a preparation contract, maturing at the important date of Jesus Christ's death. The second, a legal contract for the construction of a Kingdom administration.

FIRST 2,000 YEAR CONTRACT.
2.
The first covenant covered a 2,000 year preparation process, with directions leading to the Christ. His identification was sign posted through a lineage descending from Abraham. This contract was agreed with Abraham, while he was living in the city of Ur in Mesopotamia in the year 1968BC. It terminates exactly 2,000 years later, in the year 33AD on the year of Christ's death.

"You are Yahweh, the God who chose Abram and brought him from Ur of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham. You found his heart faithful before you and made a covenant with him" Neh 9: 7-8 (LEB).

God invited Abraham to work with him in setting up a blood lineage. Provided Abraham agreed to co-operate, God guaranteed that a future descendant of his would eventually come through his blood line who would bring benefits to all mankind.

“Go from your country (Chaldea) and your kindred and your father’s house (Ur) to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed," Gen 12:1-3 (NIV).

"He (God) said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed." Acts 3:25 (NIV).

The lineage seal was circumcision imposed on Abraham and all his male descendants. A chain of male, circumcised linking generations was set up. It created a sign posted and highlighted trail leading to the one who would bring benefits to all mankind.

"God said to Abraham, "As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed (descendants) after you. Every male among you shall be circumcised. You shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin. It will be a token of a covenant between me and you. " Genesis 17:9-11 (WEB).

God inaugurated His covenant with Abraham in 1968BC, it continued for a further 2,000 years, through an unbroken line, linking 42 generations of circumcised fathers, until the "benefits to all mankind" were provided in the year 33AD, with the ransoming death of Jesus Christ. How do all nations of mankind benefit from this descendant of Abraham?

"The blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He (It) doesn't say, "To seeds," as of many, but as of one, "To your seed, (offspring) " which is Christ " Gal 3:14,16 (WEB).

"You are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'In your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed.' God, having raised up his servant, Jesus, sent him to you (the disciples) first" Acts 3:25-26 (WEB).

The benefit is a cure for mankind's
inherited ageing process our bodies
wearing out into death.

Adam all die, so also in Christ all will

an opportunity to gain perpetual
life for the entire human race}^{by
rebalancing
the scales.}^{Christ "}^{who gave
himself as a

ransom for
all; " 1

This unique benefit of
offering}^{mankind
a second opportunity to live again,
will be achieved through the
mechanism of resurrections -

"}^{having

hope toward
God, which
these also
themselves
look for, that
there will be
a resurrection
of the dead,
both of the
just
(righteous)
and unjust
(unrighteous)"
Acts
24:15}^{(WEB).

The power to
construct a
mechanism to
enable these
resurrections was
achieved by the
payment of a life
ransoming death,
corresponding to
the life that
originally brought
about the death
sentence on
mankind and
144,000 sacrificed
lives.}

These resurrection benefits the bible informs us will be administered through God's new Kingdom administration, headed by His representative King of kings.

"They sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, And to open its seals: For you (Jesus) were killed, And bought us for God with your blood, Out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, And made them (to be a Kingdom) kings and priests to our God, And they (will) reign (rule as kings over) the earth” Rev 5:9-10 (WEB).

Once the unique sacrificial death of Christ had been carried out, there was no longer any need for the continuation of a circumcised lineage, the contract had matured after 2,000 years, ending in 33AD with Jesus' supplying his unique sacrificed life at his execution, providing a legal basis upon which the promised "benefits to all mankind" could be built.

After the 2,000 year Abraham contract matured, when the promised offspring of Abraham provided the ransom sacrifice in 33 AD, a second Kingdom contract was immediately validated. These two covenants run tandem, they both remain in force for the same length of time, both fixed term 2000 year contracts. The death of Jesus Christ in 33 divides these two covenants. On the day of Jesus' death, the Abraham covenant matured and ended, and the new Kingdom covenant commenced.

The first individuals invited to become party to this second contract were 11 apostles on the day that it was validated, April (Nisan 14th) of the year 33. Jesus followed a very precise timetable and script set by his Father for inaugurating this new contract. A few hours before it was validated by his death, he stated:

The Wine represents Jesus blood " my blood (validates) the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins(Adamic and personal) I tell you, I will not drink from this (symbolic) fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom" Matthew 26:28-29 (WEB).

This covenant offered personal contractual involvement in Kingdom activity with Christ and a share in judging which people would receive a 'better' earthly resurrection.

"I covenant to give you, as my Father has covenanted to give me, a Kingdom so that you shall eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and sit on thrones as judges over the twelve tribes of Israel" Luke 22:29-30 (WNTB)

On the day of its validation, Jesus promised he would drink it with these 11, along with a further 143,989 contractors (saints) when the contract matured and the benefits of this Kingdom contract would be paid out to them by way of positions in the Kingdom administration. All these, he "bought from the earth" by his life, his blood sacrifice.

Revelation 7:4 " And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the people of Israel" (RSV)

Revelation 14:1 "Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion! And with him were one hundred forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads" (RSV)

Revelation 14:3 ".. they sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could
learn that song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who have been redeemed from the earth" (RSV).

As with the Abraham covenant, the Kingdom contract also runs for a 2,000 year term. Started in 33 AD, it matures 2,000 years later, in 2033 when the full number will be complete and the Kingdom set up in the heavens. This new administration will, step by step bring about the promised benefits to all mankind.

"An administration of (at) the fullness of the (appointed) times, to sum (gather) up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him; " Eph 1:10 (WEB).

TWO CONTRACTS IN TANDEM

These two contracts butt together at the pivot date 33 AD. The first Abraham covenant stretches back from 33 AD for 2,000 years to
1968 BC. The second Kingdom contract, pivots forward from 33 AD for 2,000 years to 2033.
